PREMIER TRAILER LEASING LAUNCHES NEW HUMAN TRAFFICKING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Trailers will serve as traveling billboards throughout the country with anti-trafficking signage
Plano, Texas – April 15, 2024 – Premier Trailer Leasing, one of the nation’s leading trailer leasing and rental companies, has launched a new human trafficking awareness campaign that aims to increase visibility about the signs of human trafficking and how to report it.
Titled “Raising the Bar Against Human Trafficking,” Premier is taking its new campaign on the road with attention-grabbing signage that states, “See It. Say It. Stop It.” and includes the phone number for the national human trafficking hotline. Premier is inviting its lease customers to actively partner in the initiative by choosing either a decal sticker to place on the trailers they lease, or a full trailer wrap with the anti-trafficking message accompanied by both the customer’s logo and Premier’s logo. The campaign supports Premier’s ongoing partnerships with anti-trafficking organizations Nomi Network, Truckers Against Trafficking and One More Child.
“Driven by integrity is the slogan that we live by at Premier,” said CEO Jim AuBuchon. “We pride ourselves on our culture of care that encompasses every aspect of our business – from how we treat our employees and customers to our support for important causes like ending human trafficking. We asked ourselves how we could make an impact, leveraging the size of our fleet and more than 40 locations across the country. Through this new initiative, our trailers serve as traveling billboards to raise awareness about human trafficking, and we are proud to offer our lease customers the opportunity to join us in this effort.”
Premier is providing the anti-trafficking decal stickers to lease customers at no charge as long as supplies last. For the full-wrap option, Premier will cover half the cost of wrapping the trailer for customers with a minimum 18-month lease of 2023 and 2024 model-year dry vans or new production builds. As part of the campaign, Premier is training its employees on how to spot the signs of human trafficking via lunch and learn events hosted in partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking and Nomi Network, as well as providing educational collateral for drivers who visit Premier’s branch locations throughout the country.
